Hyperdrive privacy policy

Hyperdrive is a pinball game. It collects as little as it can: only what the online leaderboard needs to work. It has no adverts, no analytics and no tracking, and it does not ask for an account, an email address or any other personal details.
What is sent to the online leaderboard
When a game ends with a score good enough for the leaderboard, the game sends it to LootLocker, the service that runs the leaderboard. It sends:

So the game can pick out your own scores on the board. It is not linked to your phone, your account or anything else about you, and it changes if you reinstall the game. |
Like any website, LootLocker's servers also see the internet address your device connects from. Their handling of it is covered by LootLocker's own privacy policy.
The leaderboard is public: anyone playing the game can see the names, scores and levels on it. Please use a nickname, not your real name.
What stays on your device
The game saves your own best scores, the name you last entered, whether the sound is muted, and the random code above. These stay on your device and are removed if you uninstall the game (or clear the site's data, for the web version).
On phones, the game reads the motion sensor so that shaking the phone nudges the table. That is used only while you play and is never stored or sent anywhere.
Permissions
The Android app asks only for internet access, which the leaderboard needs. The game still works without a connection, using the scores saved on your device.
Children
Hyperdrive has no adverts and does not ask for personal information. The only thing a player types in is a name for the leaderboard. If a child has entered their real name and you would like it removed, please get in touch.
Removing your scores
To have a name or score removed from the leaderboard, email hello@iglogames.com with the name and roughly when the game was played.
Changes
If the game ever starts collecting anything else, this page will be updated first, and the date at the top will change.
